Originally built in 1958, this superb de Havilland Chipmunk has spent the last 25 years under the same ownership. Previous to this, the aircraft was operated by the Portuguese Air Force (Força Aérea Portuguesa), where it served under registration number 1358 until being withdrawn from service and imported into the United Kingdom.

Currently based at Elmsett Airfield the aircraft’s Gipsy Major 10 MK.2 has just 527 hours on a 1500 life cycle. The airframe has 2265 hours and will be sold with a fresh permit to fly.
